About Us

Welcome to the Lodge Mother india no 110.

Constituted as Lodge Mother India No. 1388 – SC. Warranted: 01.02.1935 Consecrated: 04.03.1935

Lodge mother India no110 is a Fraternal Masonic organization founded with with the onus of making a good man better. We operate under the mandate of the Grand Lodge of India(GLI) which was consecrated as a sovereign grand Lodge with full masonic jurisdiction over the territories of the Republic of India in 1961.

Freemasonry bring one of the oldest secular social and charitable organization's in the world, modern Freemasonry’s roots lie in the traditions of the medieval stonemasons who built our castles and cathedrals.

For Freemasons, there are four important values that help define their path through life: Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Service. In today’s world filled with uncertainty, these principles ring as true now as they have at any point in the organisation’s history.

Membership is open to men over 21 from all backgrounds and the organisation’s aim is to empower members to be the best they can be – it’s about building character, supporting members as individuals and helping them make a positive contribution to society.

Freemasonry provides a structure for members to come together under these common goals, enabling people to make new friendships, develop themselves and make valuable contributions to charitable causes.

The values that we stand by

INTEGRITY

Rather than working on buildings like the masons of old, today’s Freemasons focus on building themselves as people of integrity, and membership provides the structure to help achieve that goal.

FRIENDSHIP

One of the oldest social organisations in the world, Freemasonry is not defined by an ideology. It is open to people from all religions and political persuasions and provides the common foundation for friendships between members, many of which will last for life.

RESPECT

Freemasonry brings people together irrespective of their race, religion or any other perceived differences that can divide us as a society.

SERVICE

Whether participating in events, fundraising for a charitable cause or volunteering for public or community organisations, service is at the very heart of Freemasonry. Our members make valuable contributions by donating time, resources and skills.

The secret of Masonry, like the secret of life, can be known only by those who seek it, serve it, live it. It cannot be uttered; it can only be felt and acted. It is, in fact, an open secret, and each man knows it according to his quest and capacity. Like all things worth knowing, no one can know it for another and no man can know it alone  -William Howard Taft
