About Us

Originally established as Lodge Mother India No. 1388 - SC, we were officially warranted on February 1, 1935, and consecrated on March 4, 1935. Our lodge has a rich history and a deep commitment to the principles and traditions of Freemasonry.

Lodge Mother India No. 110 is a Fraternal Masonic organization dedicated to helping good men become better. We operate under the mandate of the Grand Lodge of India (GLI), which was consecrated as a sovereign Grand Lodge with full Masonic jurisdiction over the territories of the Republic of India in 1961. This allows us to uphold the esteemed traditions and values of Freemasonry while contributing to the cultural and social fabric of India.

Freemasonry is one of the oldest secular, social, and charitable organizations in the world. Its modern form evolved from the medieval stonemasons who built the magnificent castles and cathedrals that stand as testaments to their skill and dedication. These early stonemasons formed guilds to regulate their trade and to pass on their knowledge, secrets, and traditions. Over time, these guilds evolved into the Freemasonry we know today, carrying forward a legacy of craftsmanship, fraternity, and moral philosophy.
